Dante’s Inferno expresses a tangible picture of our troubles: anxiety, frustration, regrets, anger, fears, invalidating traps that are all too easy to fall into “Midway upon the journey of our life”.
Purgatorio (Purgatory) is the way to break free from them.
And Paradiso (Heaven) is the gateway to a fulfilled life that expresses the power of the wisdom and the uniqueness that lies within each of us, regardless of the extent of our victories.
We do not have to suppress our emotions in order to be more ‘spiritual’ and we must ready our minds to accept both positive and negative thoughts. We have to process the awareness of ourselves in relation to emotions and thoughts as they are.
A long-lasting spirituality cannot be imposed from the outside, but it is an inner work of knowledge and depth by accepting all that resides there.
We all go astray because we have a tendency to work from a negative attitude or assumption. Our infernal side.
In spite of these obstacles, we perceive within us the seed of a promise, and we see that our life tends towards the pursuit of that promise.
This journey paves the way to the best version of ourselves.
